Early Childhood education has been an area that is often misrepresented or not given its due importance. This deficit is more prominent in the economically challenged section of our society. Cost of quality education is a daunting figure for the community dealing with poverty.

With a vision to extend the opportunity of learning and development to the critical age of 3-6 year old children of Jawahar Nagar Kachi Basti, Jaipur, Goonj, a Preschool was established in 2019.

We at Maadhyam recognise play as one of the most effective tools for a child's learning. Through play, a child gets aware about herself, her place and her impact on the world around her. Spatial awareness, her identity, language skills all develop through play.

During early years, children have immense capacity to learn fast, manifolds and learn without stress. We tap these years with play, fun and creative expression through language and art. Cognitive games are the core of their fun experiences at Goonj. Sensory learning makes the learning long lasting. Strong socio-emotional foundation is laid in a nurturing, happy and fun environment.

This Preschool is designed with the focus on various developmental aspects of the child.

Community plays a critical role in the development of a child. ‘It takes a village to raise a child’- is an apt saying. We work with parents and make them aware about the needs of these young ones , so that together we can create a nurturing environment to raise happy and compassionate kids.
